The mission of Ottawa County Wrestling is to challenge our young athletes to improve themselves both in wrestling and in character. Our objective as the Ottawa County Wrestling staff is to help give guidance to these young boys and girls as we teach discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility, accountability, and the desire to succeed. As coaches, we will help our athletes develop relationships with coaches, teammates, and the community that will last a lifetime. These assets are taught in the classroom, but we are able to teach these attributes using the parameters of wrestling and competition to further help build each athlete's character. We would like our wrestlers to show class in all facets of their lives, present and future.
