The MHS Wrestlers placed 4th as a team on Saturday, Dec. 1st in the Osborne Invitational. The Lions finished the tournment with 3 Individual Champions.
Cody Eaton placed 1st at 145Lbs finishing the tournament with 3 wins and 0 losses.
Alberto Contreras placed 1st at 152Lbs finishing the tournament with 4 wins and 0 losses.
Zac Eaton tied for 1st place at 135Lbs finishing the tournament with 4 wins and 1 loss.

The tournament was turned into a round robin format with each wrestler wrestling everyone in his weight. "This was a great situation for us because although we have only been to one tournament some of our wrestlers have already wrestled 5 matches." It was a good start to the season, we definetly have work to do, but we already planned on working hard all year, stated coach Giles."
The MHS J.V. wrestlers competed at the Salina South J.V. Invitational on Saturday bringing home 6 medals.
